In shocking admission, R. Kelly’s brother says alleged child sex abuser bought his mom’s silence for $5k

It’s a lot to digest.

Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning docuseries returned with more chilling tales from a number of women who accused the disgraced singer of sex crimes with personal, gut-wrenching stories.

Survivors from Faith Rodgers to Jerhonda Pace to Asante McGee gave intimate and harrowing accounts of their problematic experiences with the singer. Rodgers recounted in detail how naked pictures of her surfaced on social media after she was threatened by Kelly’s handlers.

She said she even suffered a seizure after a confrontation with Kelly’s people in an Applebee’s after they threatened to expose the pics.

After the huge success and fallout from the first Surviving R. Kelly series, less than two months later, the singer was arrested on assault charges and remains in a Chicago jail pending trial.

“The Reckoning” first dives into Kelly’s early life and his brother Bruce, who was interviewed from jail, offered insight into Kelly’s early life and confirms that Kelly was sexually abused as a child.

Bruce recalled a man named Mr. Henry who he considered was an “uncle” of sorts who once exposed himself to him, R. Kelly and his brother Carey.

But after Bruce and Kelly and Carey hurried out of Mr. Henry’s home after he whipped out his penis, he said he didn’t realize that Kelly had been returning for some time and claimed that Kelly was being molested by Mr. Henry.

Bruce said once his mother found out, police were called but neighbors took street justice and beat Mr. Henry up before cops got a chance to lock him up.

Once Mr. Henry bonded out, he revealed, his mother allegedly was bribed by him with a $5,000 payment to not show up in court. And she didn’t.

“No amount of money would have made me not prosecute that dude, simple and plain,” he said.

Bruce not only gets emotional recalling R. Kelly’s childhood, but said there were others who sexually abused him as a child.

Tiffany Hawkins gives account of underage relationship with singer

In one of the most compelling interviews, Tiffany Hawkins said she was only 15 when she got involved with Kelly and introduced him to her friends who were minors too.

Hawkins said she had sex with him to validate her presence in his world.

“It’s what I knew I had to do in order to satisfy him and to keep myself around,” she said.

R. Kelly has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. He has been charged with racketeering, kidnapping, forced labor and sexual exploitation of a child in a federal case.

The five-part, three-night “Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning” series airs Jan. 2-4 on Lifetime.

There’s more to come but not sure if we need it because he’s definitely cancelled.
