Michelle Obama named ‘Most Admired Woman’ second year in row

Michelle LaVaughn done did it again and has been named the “most admired woman” in the world for the second year in a row in Gallup’s 2019 poll.

Melania could neva!

According to The Hill, the former first lady, Michelle Obama, secured 10 percent of the vote for “most admired” while Melania came in second with five percent.

Oprah Winfrey tied with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg with three 3 percent of the vote each.

This is Obama’s second year topping the list and she is finishing 2019 strong after touring with her bestselling memoir Becoming.

Making a big hit

Obama’s memoir was such a big hit and so inspirational across the globe that she’s penned a guided journal to help people be their best selves.

Obama’s “Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice” was released nationwide earlier this year and offers the former First Lady’s inspirational quotes along with writing prompts for an interactive and proactive way to help people work toward improving their lives.

“It’s not about being perfect. It’s not about where you get yourself in the end. There’s power in allowing yourself to be known and heard, in owning your unique story, in using your authentic voice. And there’s grace in being willing to know and hear others. This, for me, is how we become,” Obama says according to the journal’s description.

The journal offers more than 150 inspirational tidbits like:

“If there’s is one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s the power of using your own voice. Write about a time when you spoke your truth to others. How did it make you feel? What did you learn?” and “Write about a specific experience when someone dislodged a dream of yours by trying to lower your expectations. How did it make you feel? How did you try to become that obstacle?”

The best-selling author told USA Today that she wanted people to be inspired.

“We don’t have to remember everything. But everything we remember has value.”

The journal is available not and is priced between $12.27 and $19.99.
